Hi,

I’m Christopher.

I’m a researcher and professor. I work primarily in the philosophy and ethics of technology, investigating the relationship between humans and technology.

My work draws on the ancient tradition of Aristotelian virtue ethics and its contemporary proponents to advance our philosophical understanding of technology ethics and help designers develop technologies that enhance, rather than diminish, human capabilities and flourishing.

I teach in the philosophy department at Houston City College and in the Teagle Foundation-funded Human Horizons program. I also enjoy music, film, running, photography, and soccer.

You can reach me at Christopher.Quintana@hccs.edu. You can also find me and my work on LinkedIn & PhilPapers.
